  • About The Villa

    Nestled in the heart of Dehradun, Doon Garden Villa sits in a quiet retreat of greenery. Its private garden is surrounded by a micro climate of fruit trees, flora and tall eucalyptus trees. Keeping you company in the lush-greens are the soft melodies of the native woodpeckers, koyals, owls, eagles, mynas and you will awaken to birdsong.

     

    It is located in the exclusive neighbourhood of The Mall Road, opposite The Doon School.

     

    It’s a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate! Great for both families and individual travellers.The villa is tastefully done up and decorated with artefacts and paintings. It has two fully furnished ensuite bedrooms with all modern amenities. The home is adorned with a beautiful verandah where you can sit in solitude or with your loved ones. Sip your morning tea and watch the day go by or make this your workation spot as you wrap up your tasks and occasionally rest your eyes to the lovely views.

    Well set up for people who want to work from home. There is wi-fi and quiet places in the villa to work.

    To make your stay comfortable there is a full time caretaker on the property.

    The property has its own car parking.

    Each bedroom has it’s own attached bathroom. Running hot and cold water, shower, exhaust. Soaps, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, toilet paper, towels etc will be provided

    Food Experience

    Breakfast will be served up by our warm and happy to please staff. We provide healthy home-cooked meals prepared using locally sourced fresh ingredients.

     

    Our caretaker would be happy to guide you on the options available. We can create a great dining experience/party in the garden.

    The Doon school is just across the road.

    The Clock Tower is 5 mins drive.

    The Dehradun Zoo is a 30-min drive away.

    The Robber's Cave is a 15-min drive away from the home.

    The FRI (Forest Research Institute) Museum is just a 15-min drive away as well.

    Doon Garden Villa warmly welcomes Doon School parents and families...........With special offers and packages! I am a Doon School parent and the Villa was built by my father, who was a Dosco.

    My childhood was spent in the mountains. I have lived and worked in Singapore for many years. Have travelled extensively around the world and interacted with people of different cultures and nationalities.

     

    I would go that extra mile to see that my guests have a memorable stay and come back for more. I’m available on the premises or just a phone call away!
